Endodontic treatment is a process that we follow, when the dental pulp (the interior part of a tooth that is mainly made up of vessels and nerves) becomes inflamed or has died.
Endodontic treatment entails opening up the tooth, removing the infected tissue using mechanical and chemical means and finally, filling root canals with inert material.
