Fluoridation is a very simple process that is carried out after teeth cleaning. Depending on the age of the patient, a varnish or fluoride gel is applied on all clean surfaces. It is mainly performed in children or teenagers for the prevention of tooth decaying, but also in adults for the treatment of dental sensitivity.
